Wood jewellery box, Bandsawn box within a box, tp46

This bandsawn box is made from centuries old Douglas fir from British Columbia. The wood was salvaged from the Welland Canal during major renovations. The box is approximately 5.75 inches long by 4.5 inches deep and 4 inches high. The internal box containing a drawer is 4.75 inches long, 2.25 inches deep and 4 inches high. The drawer measures 3.75 by 2 by 3 inches. It has been treated with boiled linseed oil to help preserve the wood.
