This puzzle box is made from Manitoba maple. The red staining is natural and is created by a fusarium fungus that inhabits the tree. The box comes apart to reveal a small drawer where you can store small treasures. The box is approximately 6 inches long by 3.75 inches deep. The small drawer inside the box has a drawer opening of about 2 by 1 inches.
