This bowl was hand turned from ambrosia maple. The staining is created by a fungus introduced into soft maple by the Ambrosia beetle. It measures 3.5 inches across and 3.5 inches high. It has been treated with a food safe finish. It should be hand washed and treated periodically with a food safe finish.
